Conditions for staying

We will do everything to make your residence at our holiday home unforgettable. To ensure that the stay is as pleasant as possible:

• Guests have to abide by the Rules for relaxation and comfort (see the Rules below).
• Only the originally registered number of guests is allowed on the premises of the holiday home.
• Guests are financially responsible for the deliberately caused damages
• Administration holds the rights to evict guests without refund if the afore mentioned rules are openly violated.

The magic of the holiday home

This house that once belonged to one of the most active figures in Mazirbe and the protagonist of The New Riga Theatre play “Latvian Stories” Gunars Leitendorfs is entwined with numerous legends. Wishing to preserve this beautiful building for the next generations, in 2015 it was renovated with love and consideration for historic accuracy. Therefore, to ensure you and many other guests wonderful holidays for years to come, we kindly ask you to treat this house with care.

• Smoking indoors and on the terrace is not allowed
• No outside shoes indoors
• Treat furniture and appliances with care
• Do not litter the territory of holiday home

This is a place where silence resides

The charm of this holiday house lies in the peace and quiet of the surrounding area. Here the sounds of sea are accompanied by songs of birds and sounds of the woods, which can be heard throughout day and night. This is the place to enjoy the silence.

• Use of sound amplifiers outside the houses is prohibited
• Loud noise or any disturbance of peace is prohibited between 10 p.m. – 8 a.m.

We are located in the Slītere National Park

The holiday house is located in the Slītere National Park and that gives you the opportunity to experience and enjoy the greatest advantages of a national park – a quiet and untouched nature. To maintain this fantastic corner of earth there are several rules to be followed:

• Cars are only allowed in the specially designated places
• Making of fires is prohibited, except in specially arranged places
• Nature has to be treated in a careful manner
• Pick up after yourselves any garbage or waste left in the beach or elsewhere

Livonian villages and their inhabitants are fascinating with their captivating nature and history, as well as with their culture and respect for others. So let’s have respect for local traditions and peoples’ privacy. Everyone is always warmly welcome, but we should remember we are visiting.
